What personal data Fibisoft collects, why, who it is shared with and how to exercise your rights.

Last updated: 4 November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SAHELIER STUDIO SARL ("Fibisoft", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit our website, contact us, use Fibisoft Recruit, or apply to a job through a career site powered by Fibisoft. Our registered details and postal address are published in our Legal Notice.

We process personal data in accordance with Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on personal data protection in Cameroon, and with any other law that applies.

1. Our two roles

  • Controller: for website visitors, people who fill in our forms or email us, and the contact and account details of our Customers' users. We decide why and how this data is used.
  • Processor: for candidate data. When you apply to a job on a career site powered by Fibisoft, the employer (our Customer) decides what data to collect and how to use it. We process that data only on its behalf and on its instructions.

2. Data we collect as controller

Website visitors

  • Technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, which our servers process to deliver the website and to protect our forms against abuse (for example by limiting how many requests can be sent in a short time).
  • Language preference: a cookie that remembers whether you chose English or French. See our Cookie Policy.

We do not use analytics or advertising tools on our website.

Customers and their users

  • Account data: the name, email address and role of each user invited to the Service.
  • Billing data: billing contact details, invoices and payment records. Mobile money payments are processed by pawaPay; we do not store your mobile money PIN.
  • Activity data: actions recorded in the Audit Log, such as who moved a candidate to a new stage and when.

3. Candidate data we process for our Customers

When you apply to a job through a Fibisoft career site, the employer receives your application in Fibisoft Recruit. Depending on the employer's application form, this can include your name, contact details, CV and other documents, and your answers to its questions. The employer's team may add pipeline stages, Match Score results, scorecard ratings and comments.

The employer is responsible for this data. If you have a question about your application or want to exercise your rights, please contact the employer first. If you contact us, we will pass your request on to the employer and help it respond.

We never use candidate data for our own marketing, and we never share one Customer's candidates with another Customer.

5. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Fibisoft, and only as needed for the service they provide:

  • Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES), to deliver emails, such as the messages our forms send to our team and the emails the Service sends to users and candidates;
  • pawaPay, to process mobile money payments for our invoices;
  • Cloudflare, if we enable its Turnstile check on our forms to block automated spam;
  • our hosting provider, which stores the website and the Service.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a legal dispute. We do not sell personal data, and we never share data with other Customers.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may process personal data outside Cameroon. When this happens, we make sure the transfer meets the conditions set by applicable law and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above:

  • Form and email enquiries: for as long as needed to answer you and follow up on our conversation. We delete them earlier if you ask us to.
  • Customer and candidate data: for the duration of the contract with the Customer. We delete it at the end of the contract, after the export period described in our Terms of Service, or earlier at the Customer's request.
  • Invoices and payment records: for as long as accounting and tax law requires.

Deletion is carried out by our team on request or at the end of the contract; the Service does not delete data automatically on a schedule.

8. Security

We protect personal data with access controls and roles, a record of activity in the Audit Log, separation of each Customer's data, and encrypted connections. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and will inform affected Customers and, where required, the competent authority, of any personal data breach.

9. Your rights

Under Cameroonian law, you can ask to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your data;
  • object to some uses of your data, or withdraw your consent;
  • receive information about how your data is used.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask you to confirm your identity. For candidate data, we will pass your request to the employer concerned. You can also lodge a complaint with the personal data protection authority in Cameroon.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. We will tell Customers by email about any material change.

11. Contact
