Publishing a job

Decide who can find a job, when it goes live and when applications close, then open it to candidates.

Steps

  1. Open the job’s editor. Go to Campaigns, open the job (called a campaign in Fibisoft) and select Edit campaign. Then go to the Publishing step.
  2. Choose the visibility. Under Job visibility, choose Public to list the job on your career site, or Unlisted so that only people with the direct link can see it.
  3. Choose the timing. Under Publication timing, choose Publish immediately or Schedule for later. A scheduled job goes live at midnight on the Publication date, in your organisation’s timezone.
  4. Set the application window. Under Application window, choose Unspecified to keep applications open until you close the job, or Specific date to set an Application deadline.
  5. Fix anything missing. If something is still missing, Fibisoft lists it under “Complete the following before publishing”, for example a role overview or a required stage.
  6. Check and open it. Select Preview job post to see it as candidates will. Then use the status badge next to the job title to open the job.
  7. Share it. Select Share to copy the job link or a ready-made description for your own channels.

Tips

  • Unlisted jobs are useful for referrals or roles you only want to share with a specific group.
  • To stop new applications, close the job. Existing applications stay available and you can keep processing them.
  • Archiving is permanent: an archived job can no longer be edited or deleted. Close the job instead if you may need it later.
  • Every job needs at least a screening stage, an interview stage and an offer stage before it can be published.
