Setting Match Score criteria

Tell Match Score what to look for in each application, how much each rule counts and which rules are required.

Steps

  1. Open Ranking criteria. Open the job (called a campaign in Fibisoft), select Edit campaign and go to the Ranking criteria step. This is where Match Score is set up.
  2. Add skills. Select Add skills and type each skill or phrase, pressing Enter after each one. Choose Any term if one match is enough, or All terms if the candidate should mention every one.
  3. Add locations. Select Add location and list the places you accept, such as Douala or Yaoundé.
  4. Add application answers. Select Add answer, choose one of your application form fields and enter the accepted value, for example “Yes” to a question about relocation.
  5. Weight each rule. Give each rule a Weight. A rule with a higher weight counts more in the score.
  6. Mark what is required. Switch on Required for any rule a candidate must meet. A required rule counts double, and a candidate who fails it gets a Low fit label.
  7. Save. Select Save ranking criteria. Use Enabled to switch a rule off without deleting it.

Tips

  • Start with three to five rules. Too many rules make the score harder to read.
  • Use the words candidates actually write. A rule for “accounting” won’t find a CV that only says “comptabilité”, so add both.
  • Use required rules sparingly, for true deal-breakers.
  • You may see Add experience and Add education. Fibisoft does not score these automatically yet: it shows relevant passages from the CV so a reviewer can judge.
  • Ranking assists. Your team decides.
